From Easter until All Saints holiday, you can discover the place at your own pace with a visit booklet. It allows you to take the time to stroll in the rooms and gardens and to enjoy the serenity of the place, the surrounding landscapes, and the architecture.

The visit can also be guided. In that case, it will have to be booked in advance.

Unusual visit

You already know Fontdouce and you would like to discover it differently? This visit is made for you!

Follow the guide and discover small unexpected corners of the abbey. Then continue the visit "your feet in the water" (don't forget to bring rubber boots!). Finish with a zip line ride in the Adventure Park to have an exceptional view of Fontdouce (don't forget to bring also good sport shoes)!

Fontdouce with the flow

From the Fontdouce to the Fontmonsieur, walking along both sides of the stream, you will go along the river and discover the abbey from an original angle.

Convivial visit

During a guided tour, the owners will tell you the story of Fontdouce, the restorations they are supervising since more than 45 years, and the life of their family who is living here since the French Revolution.

The visit will be followed by a tasting of the Pineau de Fontdouce.

Night visit

Bring your torch and follow the guide for a visit beginning at nightfall. In some minutes, darkness sets in and the last rays of sunshine make way for shadows and play of light.

Then, a kind of mystery envelops the abbey and its exploration takes on a completely new dimension...!
